On August 21 at 1:00 our District elections will be held
at  RJ's BAR and GRILL in Kellogg.

Note: This is a location change  

The August meeting will NOT be held in Chelsea like the Freeway Flyer states.

2010 Motorcycle Fatalities In Iowa
April
- A motorcyclist collides into the back of another motorcycle and a passenger is killed

- A motorcycle rider attempts to negotiate a curve, loses control and dies

- A motorcyclist is killed when a car failed to yield while making a left turn

- A motorcycle rider dies after failing to negotiate a curve

June
- A group of motorcyclists attempt to merge onto the interstate when a cycle crashes into a car.  Another motorcyclist attempts to avoid the crash by laying his motorcycle on its side. The rider was thrown from his motorcycle and was struck by a semi tractor-trailer

- A motorcyclist is riding eastbound when a metal road sign blew in front of his bike and smashed into him. The sign was not anchored by a sandbag, a police report said

- A motorcycle rider is struck by a mattress that blew out of the bed of a pickup

- A car slows suddenly from backed up traffic and a motorcyclist does not stop in time 

- A motorcyclist on a Highway 35 ramp to westbound Interstate Highway 80 drives off the roadway
